Upcoming Community Plans
In addition to the CCP, we are in the process of developing three other community plans to support the community’s future. What you share during CCP engagement will also help shape the Climate Adaptation Plan, the Community Land Use Plan, and the Public Notification and Evacuation Route Plan. These plans will reflect your voices and priorities, while also providing a strong foundation for a safe, resilient, and thriving community. We also recently completed the Four Pillars Plan, which provides us with direction for Language, Culture, Heritage, and Wellness for the next five years!
Climate Adaptation Plan
This Plan is about preparing for and adapting to climate change. Together, we will look at how to prepare for things like stronger storms, floods, wildfires, and other changes to the land and water.
Community Land Use and Infrastructure Plan
The Community Land Use and Infrastructure Plan will guide decisions about how community lands are used and developed. It will identify the needs and gaps in housing and community infrastructure while protecting cultural places and the environment. By sharing your vision, you’ll help shape how the land supports both present and future generations.
Public Notification and Evacuation Route Plan
This Plan will ensure the community is ready when emergencies happen. It will identify safe evacuation routes, communication during crises, and the resources we need to protect our community. Your input will guide how the plan reflects the community's needs during a crisis.
